SAN FRANCESCO, July 18, 2025 ~ Elegoo, a rapidly growing brand in the world of smart manufacturing, has announced its participation in Open Sauce, one of the largest gatherings of makers, creators, and tech innovators. The event will take place from July 18 to July 20 at the San Mateo County Event Center in San Francisco.
At Booth A15 and A16, Elegoo will be showcasing a range of 3D printed creations that are built around STEM ideas and co-created with makers from all over the world. This marks Elegoo's first appearance at Open Sauce and they are excited to be a part of an event that celebrates the spirit of making.
Coco Lee, Brand Director at Elegoo, expressed their enthusiasm for being a part of Open Sauce. "We believe in the maker spirit and this event is the perfect platform to showcase our passion for technology. It's not just about showing off our products, but also about collaborating with others and sparking new ideas. We are here to deliver the fun and wonder of 3D printing."
Among their impressive lineup of creations, Elegoo will be presenting their open-source AI robot fleet consisting of nine robots. These robots were 3D printed by Elegoo's dedicated engineers using the ESP32-S3 chip. They were inspired by the Otto robot and the open-source XiaoZhi AI project but have been customized with unique shells and redesigned control boards.

These robots are equipped with sensors that allow them to listen, speak, display expressions, take photos, perform movements as instructed, and interpret user intent through AI. This combination of 3D printing, AI technology, and robotics makes for an accessible platform that has already inspired developers worldwide.
Another highlight at Elegoo's booth will be their collaboration with Willow Creative on animatronic wings. These wings were created in just four weeks using mostly 3D printed parts such as feathers, hinges, connectors, and a backpack frame. The OrangeStorm Giga and Centauri Carbon 3D printers were used to bring this project to life. Each feather is made of transparent PETG material and is designed to work with addressable 3mm LED strips, creating dynamic light effects.
Visitors can also witness the power of 3D printing in the form of Tipsy - a fully open-source AI-powered drink pouring machine created by Concept Bytes. Elegoo provided support by supplying 3D printers and materials for this project. The entire outer casing of Tipsy is 3D printed and it can connect up to 12 drink sources via tubing, using small pumps to dispense single or double shots. A digital control panel displays ChatGPT-generated drink images, making it a fun and customizable experience.
