Speaker Nancy Heaston will discuss race and recommend ways to improve eqaulity and increase inclusivity.
PASADENA, Calif. - Californer -- 50/50 Leadership will host a virtual roundtable discussion on systemic racism and the impacts of social injustice with Speaker Nancy Heaston, CEO Action for Racial Equity Fellow on February 6th, at 10 AM PST/ 1 pm EST.
Participants will engage in a discussion of how inequality permeates all areas of life and practical recommendations to increase inclusivity.
"Last year we finally woke up. This year we have to take action. Each of us can address the inequities at work, in our communities. We need to be intentional, we need to educate ourselves, and we need to say "enough", and have our actions reflect that " said Pauline Field, Founder and Chair of 50/50 Leadership.

Nancy Heaston works to bring a greater awareness to systemic racism by working to advance racial equity through public policy. Her work with Comerica Bank and as CEO Action for Racial Equity Fellow has afforded her the opportunity to identify, develop, and promote scalable and sustainable public policies. Through corporate engagement, she addresses societal systemic racism and social injustice. She works hard at providing solutions to improve societal well-being.

50/50 Leadership is a non-profit organization committed to empowering, educating, and inspiring women from all walks of life to become leaders. Founded in 2004 by Pauline Field to alter the perception and underrepresentation of women in leadership roles, the organization provides a wide range of financial literacy programs, now held virtually, for women across America who have been in foster care, incarcerated, have survived from domestic violence, or who have experienced homelessness.
