New Dashboard Processes Batches of 20 to 250+ Audio Files with Silent File Detection, Duplicate Flagging, and Per-File Pricing from $3.00
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Californer -- BrassTranscripts announces the launch of self-service bulk transcription, enabling teams to upload and process batches of audio and video files through a web-based dashboard without API setup or sales calls. Volume pricing applies automatically based on batch size, starting at $4.50 per file for batches of 20–49 files and dropping to $3.00 per file for batches of 250 or more.
Self-Service From Signup to Download
The bulk system requires no approval process or custom quotes. Users create an account at https://brasstranscripts.com/bulk/signup, verify their email, and receive a private dashboard link.
Files are uploaded via drag-and-drop, processed concurrently with automatic speaker identification across 99+ languages, and delivered as TXT transcripts with speaker labels. Payment is collected only after all files complete processing, and the full batch downloads as a single ZIP file.

New accounts start with a 100-file limit. Each completed payment automatically increases the limit by 100 files, scaling with usage without requiring plan upgrades or sales contact.
Automated Quality Filters for Large Batches
The bulk dashboard includes three safeguards designed for high-volume workflows where manual review of every file is impractical.
Silent file detection identifies recordings that contain no spoken words, such as ambient noise captures, equipment tests, or surveillance footage with audio enabled but no conversation. Files flagged as silent are excluded from the invoice and do not count against the account file limit.
Duplicate filename detection flags files with matching names within a batch before processing begins. An amber badge and summary notice alert users to review and remove duplicates, preventing double-processing of identical recordings.
Failed files are not included in the checkout total. Users can retry failed files before paying or proceed with the completed batch.
