LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Cal State LA is one of the nation's top regional universities in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.
Cal State LA ranks 24th among all private and public regional universities in the western United States, according to the 2023 rankings released this week.
Among public regional universities in the West, Cal State LA continues to rank 8th.
"Cal State LA offers students a transformative education," said Cal State LA President William A. Covino. "Our U.S. News & World Report rankings reflect the steadfast dedication of our students, faculty, staff and alumni."

U.S. News & World Report relies on key measurements to develop its rankings. These include graduation rates, alumni giving, class size, and student-faculty ratio, areas in which Cal State LA continues to achieve significant success.
The university recorded strong marks for its undergraduate engineering, business and nursing programs, economic diversity, affordability, and social mobility in the latest rankings.
