Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - On Saturday, March 28, 2026, the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will team up with the Long Beach Public Library (Library) to host Spring Fest, a free and family-friendly community event. The event will take place at Lincoln Park in Downtown Long Beach from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to Mayor Rex Richardson, Spring Fest is the perfect opportunity for families to embrace the spring season and enjoy a variety of activities suitable for all ages. "Events like this reflect our ongoing commitment to providing accessible, family-friendly events for our community to come together, build lasting memories and enjoy a day at one of our beautiful Long Beach parks," said Mayor Richardson.
The event will feature two egg hunts for different age groups - one for children aged 3-6 at 11:30 a.m. and another for children aged 7-12 at 12:30 p.m. In addition, there will be a bunny trail for children aged 2 years and under and visits from the Easter Bunny with photo opportunities throughout the event courtesy of the Long Beach Public Library.

Children can also participate in creating flower planter souvenirs and spring-themed pipe cleaner mementos to take home. Other activities include a cupcake walk at 1:30 p.m., arts and crafts, face painting, group games and more.
Attendees will have the chance to enter free raffles for prizes provided by PRM and the Library. Light refreshments will also be available while supplies last. To participate in activities, attendees must check in to receive a bracelet. The egg hunts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
For those driving to the event, complimentary parking will be available at the Civic Center Parking Garage throughout the duration of Spring Fest. More information about Spring Fest can be obtained by calling 562.570.3524.
