Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach residents are invited to attend a community meeting on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, to hear updates about the development of the new Long Beach Senior Center. The meeting will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the current location of the senior center, located at 1150 E. 4th St.
The City of Long Beach Departments of Parks, Recreation and Marine and Public Works are hosting the meeting and will provide information on the progress of the new senior center, which will be located at 125 Elm Ave. Attendees will have the opportunity to review community feedback results from a recent survey and learn how this feedback will be incorporated into the design phase of the project.
Following a question-and-answer period, attendees will also have opportunities to provide additional feedback. Printed fliers promoting the meeting are available in English, Spanish, Khmer and Tagalog at Long Beach Senior Centers and can also be found on longbeach.gov/seniorcenterat125elm.

The new Long Beach Senior Center will occupy the entire ground floor of the building at its new location and measure 44,514 square feet. It will offer a variety of programs and services including social and recreational activities, health and wellness programs, meals and nutrition options, cultural enrichment opportunities, community support networks, as well as access to services and information.
