Skirball Cultural center event this weekend to benefit students of uvalde shooting
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- A new production of Disney's hit Broadway show Newsies is happening this weekend at the Skirball Cultural Center. The show will be a junior version of the Broadway hit. We are proud to bring a heartfelt production to Los Angeles and can't wait for people to see it. Produced by Shedrack Anderson and Marcus Flye, they wanted to make a positive benefit to help struggling families heal from the horror of gun violence. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the families of the Uvalde school shooting. Performances are Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 6pm only for this one weekend event. Don't miss this event as the kids take you on a journey back to the 1930s and the fun times that were had . Be taken on a journey of laughter and happiness as the kids tell their stories. Newsies is a Tony award winning show that must not be missed. Purchase through eventbrite.com. For more ticket information log onto www.flyeinvestments.com for tickets and more information. Due to covid protocol, masks indoors will not be required but encouraged. https://www.eventbrite.com
