LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Chef-Technologist Kelly Anderson announced the pilot and early-access beta launch of DyeConverter™, an AI-enhanced clean-color conversion platform helping food brands replace synthetic dyes with natural colorants ahead of the FDA's 2027 phase-out.
The public debut takes place Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. PST / 12:30 p.m. EDT during the inaugural Clean Food Forum: Navigating Natural Dye Reform (www.cleanfoodforum.com).
Powered by Aspenify and MakeBooks.ai, DyeConverter integrates 15,000 ingredients and over one million mapped data points, including ppm ranges, cost ratios, and simulation data, within a regulatory framework covering FDA CFR Title 21, EFSA, Health Canada, WHO, and Codex GSFA. The AI engine predicts viable natural-color substitutions, dosage ratios, and supplier SKUs, cutting reformulation cycles from months to weeks.
"For most brands, reformulating with natural dyes means endless research and supplier outreach before lab work begins," said Anderson. "DyeConverter condenses that process by centralizing regulatory, scientific, and supplier data in one place."

The Clean Food Forum unites leaders shaping clean-label reformulation and is where DyeConverter will debut. The event explores how AI, regulation, and market data accelerate innovation. Expert panelists include Kyle Shannon, CEO of Storyvine; Paul Shapiro, CEO of The Better Meat Co.; Nandini Roy, F&B Specialist at Future Market Insights; Erica Lamont, Founder of MakeBooks.ai; and Anderson, Founder of DyeConverter.com.
Lamont added, "We're proud to power the data architecture behind DyeConverter and to join the Clean Food Forum. Kelly's vision aligns with our mission to make knowledge systems accessible for sustainable change."
A two-sided platform, DyeConverter offers seat-based SaaS licensing for brands and verification access for suppliers. Early users report up to 80 percent faster reformulation and 2–10x ROI per SKU.
