Where LA hotels do charge, the median stated self-parking price is $27 and the median valet price is $60. Only 8% of the area's 2,610 hotels state a parking price on their own website.
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Seventy-two percent of Los Angeles-area hotels that publish a self-parking price on their own website say parking is free, according to the LA Hotel Parking Report released today by Journeyed, an independent guide to the details of every hotel in the Los Angeles area.
Journeyed read the official websites of hotels across the Los Angeles market and recorded what each one states about the stay, with the source page and the date it was checked. Of 214 hotels that state a self-parking price, 154 say self-parking is free.
Key findings:
- 72% of LA hotels that state a self-parking price say it is free (154 of 214).
- Where a price is charged, the median stated self-parking price is $27, with a range of $10 to $79 (49 hotels).

- Only 8% of the 2,610 hotels in the Los Angeles area state a self-parking price on their own website.

Every figure counts only what a hotel states on its own website, in plain text, on a page that was read and dated. Hotels that say nothing are not counted as free or paid. The full method, the hotel-by-hotel list with source links, and a CSV download are at https://journeyed.org/reports/la-hotel-parking-report/
