New photo book shares sixteen visual stories created with models, designers, and jewelry designers across four continents
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Californer -- Kisau Photography announced the release of "Fashion and Editorial Photography: Sixteen Tales From Around the World," a new photo book by fashion and editorial photographer Paul Tocatlian. The collection brings together sixteen visual stories created with models, fashion designers, jewelry designers, and creative teams in cities across four continents.
"Fashion and Editorial Photography: Sixteen Tales From Around the World" celebrates people first fashion storytelling for readers who are drawn to fashion, visual narratives, and collaborative art. Each chapter follows a distinct tale that blends fashion, location, and emotion to create narrative driven images. The book invites readers to celebrate the people and places that shape each story. The work spans cities such as San Francisco, New York, Paris, and Melbourne, moving from quiet streets and riversides to museum courtyards and historic interiors.

The 188 page book features garments and accessories from fashion designers including Smaranika Sarangi and Bach Mai, alongside other emerging and established voices, with jewelry from Butones Jewelry and additional jewelry designers across the chapters. Their work appears alongside models, hair and makeup artists, and other creative partners who helped bring each chapter to life. Full creative credits appear in the book and are also detailed on the companion site at www.kisau.com, where readers can explore chapter notes, behind the scenes stories, and additional context for the images.
"This book is a celebration of creative partnership," said photographer and author Paul Tocatlian. "Every image grew from a shared idea and a willingness to explore. Sixteen Tales reflects what is possible when people come together with curiosity and care."
The foreword is written by fashion designer Smaranika Sarangi, a long time creative partner of Kisau Photography. "Working with Paul has always felt like weaving story, texture, and emotion together," Sarangi writes. "This book is more than a collection of images. It is a record of trust between collaborators, a celebration of individuality, and a reminder that fashion can carry real human stories."
