NeigborDrop Is Building NeighborOS: A New Vision for Connected Neighborhoods
The Californer/10361095

SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- The neighborhood is the network.

Every day, people pass the same stores, walk the same streets and travel between the same buildings. Someone is already heading out. Someone nearby needs a hand. NeigborDrop connects the two.

We're building a zero-fleet local logistics network that turns everyday movement, spare time and useful skills into help for people nearby.

Start with something simple: a grocery pickup along an existing trip, a dog walk while you're busy, or help cleaning your home. Request what you need, or offer your time and skills to earn locally. Helpers choose which requests to accept and can set their own charges for services such as dog walking and cleaning.

Our bigger vision is NeighborOS: an operating system for connected neighborhoods. We envision residents, buildings, local businesses and services coordinating through one network, where each new participant creates more possibilities for everyone around them.

That vision starts with practical connections today. A store run can save someone time. A completed errand can build familiarity. Repeated good experiences can help neighbors find people they want to turn to again.

NeigborDrop includes phone verification, optional identity verification with a verified badge, in-app messaging, ratings and payments processed through Stripe.

NeigborDrop is available on iOS and Android in the United States and Canada. Local matching depends on nearby participation and helper availability as the network grows.
