POCONOS, Pa. - Californer -- There are few places more idyllic and illustrious within the United States than the Poconos. The expansive Pennsylvania mountains, serene waterscapes, and majestic waterfalls have captivated the hearts of residents and tourists alike for decades if not centuries. Home to people of various backgrounds and demographics, nearly half of the population of the Poconos are modern professionals navigating the hustle and bustle of busy work life, in need of a break. While the isolation of mountain life certainly has its charm to achieve the desired es- cape, one disabled veteran is on a mission to bring flavor, flair, and soul to the Poconos Mountains.

US Army Veteran, Donnell Riley has recently launched the Kickstarter campaign for Nell's Social, which will be the only Jazz, Blues, and Neo-Soul restaurant to serve the modern professionals in the Poconos. His vision is to breathe new life into the Poconos community while curating new jobs and opportunities for growth from within.
