IRVINE, Calif., May 22, 2024 ~ ShowMeCables, a leading supplier of wired and wireless connectivity products, has recently unveiled their latest line of open-frame four-post network racks. These racks, designed to hold standard 19-inch-wide IT equipment, offer adjustable interior and exterior depths to accommodate large servers or conserve floor space as needed. With a wide range of applications including data centers, server rooms, telecom, audiovisual studios, and broadcasting, these new racks are a versatile solution for any networking needs.
Available in 12U, 18U, 25U, and 45U capacity options, the ShowMeCables open-frame four-post racks feature adjustable rack depths ranging from 22 to 40 inches. This allows for solid support of various components and the ability to adjust the exterior depth from as shallow as 22.5 inches to either 38.4 or 40.7 inches depending on the model.
One of the key features of these new racks is their open-frame design which promotes air flow from all sides to prevent heat buildup and provide easy access to equipment and cables. Additionally, most models come equipped with caster wheels for easy maneuverability and quick relocation of components. For floor-mount racks that do not include wheels, they can be added separately.

These heavy-duty cold-rolled steel racks have a black powder-coat finish and can hold an impressive weight capacity of up to 1,322 pounds. They also meet quality standards such as CE, DIN 41494, EIA/ECA-310-E and IEC-60297-3-100.
Managing cables is made simple with this line of network racks as they come with cable hooks that attach to the four posts for organized routing away from the rack. There are also multiple attachment points on all sides for additional cable management devices.
The racks offer two mounting options: threaded 12-24 mounting holes or square holes with M6 cage nuts, screws and plastic washers. Both options come with 20 sets of mounting hardware for convenience.
According to Tim Houghton, Product Line Manager at ShowMeCables, "These racks are perfect for networking, AV and many other uses. They offer durable construction, efficient air flow and customizable depths that can be compressed to save space."
The new open-frame four-post network racks from ShowMeCables are currently in stock and available for immediate shipment. With their sturdy construction, ample air flow, and customizable depths, these racks are a reliable solution for any networking needs.
