Peace Officers Research Association of California and the Costa Mesa Police Association, Joins the Huntington Beach Police Officers' Association, building on her Coalition of Public Safety backing Katrina Foley's 2020 Campaign
IRVINE, Calif. - Californer -- Recognizing her long-standing priority of making communities safer, today Costa Mesa Mayor Katrina Foley received support from the Peace Officers Research Association of California and the Costa Mesa Police Association in her campaign for State Senate District 37.
In a statement released announcing the endorsement, President of the Peace Officers Research Association of California Brian R Marvel & President Joshua Kuo of the Costa Mesa Police Association remarked:
"The Peace Officers Research Association of California is proud to support Mayor Katrina Foley because of her record of accomplishment when it comes to improving public safety for our communities. We are confident that in the State Senate she will continue to make public safety a top priority."

Katrina Foley is a community leader, successful businesswoman, working mom and attorney who became Costa Mesa's first directly elected Mayor in November 2018. Foley also served as Mayor in 2016-2017 and has been on the Costa Mesa City Council for 10 years. Previously, she served on the Newport Mesa Unified School District Board of Trustees from November 2010 to November 2014.
