No one other than Steve Ly is the most qualified.  For many years, Steve have enjoyed serving the citizens in the City and County he lives in. He served as Elk Grove's Mayor from 2016 to 2020 and was able to bring crime down to its lowest. Crime in the City of Elk Grove skyrocketed upon his departure.  Prior to serving as a proud Mayor in a beautiful city, he also served as District 4's City Councilmember.  He was also a School Board Member in the school district his very own children attended and advocated for students in the Elk Grove Unified School District.

During his tenure, he was a vocal advocate for youth education and empowerment.
