H.C.PAX is the original patented X strap system in 2009. USWE won awards for same patent many years later in 2015,2016.
NEWPORT, Calif. - Californer -- Are you looking for the best backpack strap system in the market? One that positions the weight better on the body? There are two companies that lead the market in design. USWE Sports AB patented their strap system long after H.C.PAX won their utility patent in China in 2009. They look exactly the same!
H.C.PAX inventor's backpack strap system is the third posture patent following the famous Posture Pal forward head posture cushion that was sold to chiropractors worldwide that reduced forward head posture down to 0, stretched the neck and chest muscles and shortened the back muscles allowing a patient instant relieve while retraining posture at the same time.
While USWE may have had a head start in producing and distributing their backpacks, H.C.PAX claims the throne for being the original X strap system for backpack strap systems in 2009.
Would you rather spend $230 for a backpack or $39.99 for a backpack with the same strap system? If you would rather spend less, you also get the original strap system that was developed by a posture expert. Which strap system is better? Coke or Pepsi?

H.C.PAX backpack is much lighter and designed for students that need to carry school supplies. The strap system takes care of the weight distribution for you, so the excess padding isn't needed. It just adds extra weight. The original H.C.PAX also comes with the co-founders originally inspired artwork of a Heart and Diamond. The same high quality 600D fabric is used in H.C.PAX.
While H.C.PAX currently only uses 1 color fabric, the company wanted to design a non-flashy backpack with a big canvass to showcase the company's first artwork of Heart and Diamonds.
Chinese utility patents are only good for 10 years. If Geisert had his patent for the whole 10 years, it would have only been enforceable until 2019 but unfortunately, it expired in 2011 due to non-payment as the inventor moved from Ningbo to ChengDu for his daughters birth. Now that the inventors daughter is older, the two are finally launching the original X strap system, together.
