Amazon is cancelling ai hardware orders things you should know
TORRANCE, Calif. - Californer -- Strategic Crypto Reserve (strategiccryptoreserve.ca) has published an updated report on the growing number of AI hardware buyers reporting cancelled Amazon orders and closed accounts.
The report follows AI educator Nick Saraev, who says he ordered several Nvidia DGX Spark desktop AI computers on Amazon on October 31, 2026. The orders were cancelled and Amazon then closed his account. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has reported that his orders for two Nvidia GPUs were cancelled as well. Amazon has not commented publicly, and the account closure has not been independently confirmed.
The November 6 update covers the latest status of the account, Amazon's support response before the closure, and similar reports of "suspicious activity locks" on accounts buying AI hardware. It also explains why several high-value orders placed in quick succession can look like fraud or account takeover to automated checks.

"Retail checkout systems were never built for buying compute," a Strategic Crypto Reserve spokesperson said. "If AI hardware is critical to your business, buy from the source and plan the whole build properly."
For teams going beyond a few desktop units, Strategic Crypto Reserve's AI Build Configurator prices a complete AI build, including power, cooling, racks, GPUs and hosting, in one quote. A free demo is available.
