Groundbreaking Multi-Year Development Program Culminates in 24 Hours of LeMons Championship Debut at Sears Pointless 2026

SONOMA, Calif. - Californer -- Following an extensive multi-year development program conducted across the organization's advanced simulation facilities (basements), engineering workshops (kitchen tables), and strategy centers (office cubicles), 4OGS Racing today announced its official entry into the 24 Hours of LeMons championship series—one of the most prestigious and certainly the most questionable endurance racing events in North America.

The team's debut campaign at Sears Pointless 2026, to be held March 21 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, represents the culmination of tens of hours of rigorous preparation and a significant personal and financial investment estimated in the low hundreds of dollars.

"This represents everything we've worked toward," said Team Principal Alex, speaking from an undisclosed kitchen. "Our commitment to excellence over the next 30 days is unwavering. After that, we make absolutely no promises."

ABOUT THE TEAM

4OGS Racing ("Four Old Guys Racing") is a four-driver endurance racing team whose members are distributed across the U.S. in what the team describes as "a logistical nightmare that builds character." The team was forged during the pandemic through Thursday night gaming sessions, where four best friends discovered video games and whiskey lead to a good time.

The organization operates under its founding motto: Very Racey. Questionably Pacey. - a statement the team insists is "not aspirational, but a contractual guarantee."

ABOUT THE CAR

The team's 2026 championship campaign will be powered by a 1995 Ford Probe, a vehicle selected through a meticulous procurement process that prioritized "we need a car in the next 30 days." Technical specifications are being withheld at this time, primarily because the team doesn't even have the car yet.

ABOUT 24 HOURS OF LEMONS

The 24 Hours of LeMons is an endurance racing series for vehicles valued at $500 or less, combining real competition with theatrical absurdity. Founded in 2006, the series has grown into a national championship attracting teams who share a love of motorsport and an extremely flexible definition of the word "racecar."
