SAN DIEGO - Californer -- On December 4, 2019, Advanced Test Equipment Corporation (ATEC) issued a press release on its website, Facebook page, LinkedIn feed, and Twitter feed that stated AMETEK CTS would no longer calibrate, repair, or otherwise support products after the warranty period has expired. ATEC has been informed that its press release may have caused confusion. To the extent, the press release suggested or implied that AMETEK was no longer providing out-of-warranty service for any of its customers other than ATEC, that was incorrect. To avoid any potential further confusion, ATEC has removed its December 4, 2019 press release from all sources and hereby retracts the statements contained therein.
