CHESTERTON, Ind. - Californer -- Quality-of-Life Services Provider GLOBE STAR, llc, successfully completed its CARF accreditation process this month, continuing with its longstanding recognition of quality services that aspire to excellence in meeting international standards.

CARF standards have been evolving for more than 50 years by international teams of service providers, policymakers, payers, family members, and consumers.

A CARF accreditation audit at Globe Star is performed every three years. The process applies the internationally recognized standards during an on-site survey conducted by peer surveyors. Accreditation, however, is an ongoing process that distinguishes a provider's service delivery and signals to the public that the provider is committed to continuous performance improvement.

CARF accreditation promotes providers' demonstration of value and Quality Across the Lifespan® of millions of  persons served through application of rigorous organizational and program standards organized around the ASPIRE  to Excellence® continuous quality improvement framework. CARF accreditation has been the recognized  benchmark of quality health and human services for more than 50 years.

The organization has a strong reputation in the community and is considered a valuable asset. Globe Star's innovative and creative use of technology and adaptive devices in its service delivery and business functions is impressive."

In this year's report, the CARF team talked about Creating a Culture of Gentleness and stated that "Globe Star values teaching, as is evidenced in its curricula for staff members. Additionally, the organization assists with tuition for staff members to advance their education and careers. The organization provides internship opportunities to local college and university students and has expanded such opportunities to high school students."
