KATY, Texas - Californer -- Ellen Gillette is a Florida author and illustrator who has published books in several genres under her own name as well as under pen name Emily Sharpe. A former newspaper columnist, missionary, and educator, she currently substitute teaches and performs with several community theaters. Another inspirational romance of hers, "For Such a Time" (Pen It Publications) was recently a finalist in the 2022 American Fiction Awards. Ellen is available for speaking engagements and book signings.

"Joy in Yona Valley" continues the story of the four Calvert sisters which began with "Love in Yona Valley."
