Cortex Cloud extends Cortex Connect with local or managed cloud execution across mobile, browser and VS Code, with durable state and enterprise control.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Pervaziv AI today announced Cortex Cloud, a managed cloud execution layer for Cortex that extends the company's Enterprise AI Control Layer from connected intent into durable remote execution.
Cortex Cloud builds on Cortex Connect, which linked user intent, workflow progress and project aware execution across mobile, browser and Visual Studio Code. Users can now choose whether eligible work runs Local in the connected development environment or through Cortex Cloud in a managed remote workspace.
A user expresses an objective in Cortex, selects the execution destination and follows progress through the same connected workflow. Cortex coordinates the user, project, source revision, workflow state, managed workspace and result behind the product boundary.

"Cloud compute by itself does not make AI enterprise ready," said Anoop Jaishankar, Founder and CEO of Pervaziv AI. "The hard part is preserving who asked, what project state was approved, where the work is allowed to run, what happened and how the result comes back. Cortex Cloud turns those responsibilities into one connected execution path so AI can keep working without asking the user to become the infrastructure layer."
For project aware cloud work, Cortex Cloud uses a stable committed source revision as the handoff point. Eligible workflows run in managed, isolated workspaces associated with the authorized user, project and workflow. Durable task state helps progress remain available after a browser refresh, device change or temporary interruption, including through the Cloud Workflows view in the DevSecOps Task Center.
Cortex Cloud is also designed for ordinary interruptions. The active screen is a view into the workflow rather than the sole owner of it, allowing users to reconnect and recover the latest durable state instead of repeating a request. The platform keeps cloud activity tied to authenticated ownership and the execution boundary selected by the user.

"Cortex Cloud gives eligible engineering work a dedicated environment with the right repository state, permissions and organizational controls," said Irina Calciu, Founding Systems Architect at Pervaziv AI. "Whether the task is investigating a failing build, reproducing a defect or updating a dependency, the work can continue remotely and return as a reviewable result tied to the workflow that produced it. That makes AI assisted engineering more reproducible, inspectable and recoverable in real operations."
Cortex Cloud also extends the broader Cortex architecture. Model Routing coordinates specialized intelligence, Search Routing can bring in current public information, Skill Routing applies focused engineering practices, Cortex Connect keeps the experience continuous across work surfaces, and Cortex Cloud provides the managed execution destination.
