FJP checks each consequential action against current evidence before it runs and returns PROCEED, HOLD or ESCALATE with its reasoning. Built for agents that spend money, approve transactions, issue refunds or book travel.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Californer -- Flow Information Systems today introduced the Flow Judgment Protocol (FJP), which helps companies deploy AI agents that act on their behalf without worrying about what those agents get wrong. FJP catches the actions that are permitted but mistaken, before they cost money or damage a customer relationship.
Fewer expensive mistakes
An agent can follow every rule and still make the wrong call. It can book the cheaper non-refundable hotel four days before the meeting moves, and turn a $140 saving into a $1,100 loss. It can approve a $12,000 refund when its authority stops at $5,000. FJP flags these actions before they happen, so the money stays where it belongs.

Agents that can do more
Most companies keep agents on a short leash because one bad action can undo months of savings. With FJP checking consequential actions, teams can give agents more authority with confidence. Finance teams can let agents approve payments and issue refunds. Procurement teams can let agents renew contracts and place orders. Companies building executive assistant and travel agents can let them spend on someone's behalf. Investment teams can let agents act when a signal is strong enough, rather than waiting for a headline.
People only see the decisions that need them
Reviewing every agent action defeats the purpose of having an agent. FJP lets routine actions go through and sends only the uncertain ones to a person, with the reasoning attached. Teams spend their time on the decisions that deserve it.
An answer when someone asks why

When a customer, an auditor or a board asks why an agent did something, FJP has already recorded the answer. Every judgment comes with its reasoning and the condition that would have changed it, written before the action ran.
Your data stays yours
Customers decide exactly what an agent shares with FJP, and every request is encrypted in transit. They keep their own agent code, application data and model accounts. FJP never takes an action itself. The decision stays with the customer.
"An agent can know how to do something and still not know whether it should," said Steve Harmon, founder and CEO of Flow Information Systems. "Companies want agents to do real work. FJP gives them the confidence to let them."
Availability
FJP is available today. Developers can add it to an existing agent through a REST API or MCP and get started at https://fjp.flowinfo.co/
