Pier 210 Dental Group Voted Best Auburn CA Dentist with Kim Willingham Named Best Hygienist
The Californer/10360664

AUBURN, Calif. - Californer -- Pier 210 Dental Group has been voted the Best Auburn CA Dentist in Auburn's Best of the Best 2026, and its hygienist, Kimberly "Kim" Willingham, RDH, was named Best Hygienist. The community-voted honors come as the practice continues to make dental visits more comfortable, including for patients with dental anxiety, through its Relaxation Room, sedation options, and a friendly, patient-first team.

Why Dental Anxiety Matters

Dental anxiety is common and can lead people to delay checkups until a small problem grows. Regular preventive visits help avoid more complex treatment later.

A Calmer Experience, Step by Step

Pier 210 offers a Relaxation Room, a quiet space for patients with significant anxiety or those having sedation dentistry. Advanced Laser Dentistry can make procedures faster, more comfortable, and more effective.

"Many of our patients tell us they were nervous before they came in, and that is completely understandable," said Dr. David Roholt, principal dentist at Pier 210 Dental Group. "We listen, explain each step, and go at the patient's pace. Our friendly team makes that possible."

The Hygienist's Role in Building Trust

Hygienists often spend the most chair time with patients. Kim Willingham, RDH, has more than 15 years in dentistry, including more than 8 at Pier 210, and graduated from Sacramento City Dental Hygiene School with the Golden Scale Award.

"A cleaning does not have to be something to dread," said Willingham. "When patients feel heard and comfortable, they come back regularly. Being voted Best Hygienist is an honor that belongs to our whole team."
