Routing Decisions and Security Decisions bring sub second routing, faster security triage and a new decision layer to the expanding Cortex AI Model Ensemble.

SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Pervaziv AI today announced Cortex Routing Decisions and Cortex Security Decisions, the 10th and 11th specialized models in the Cortex AI Model Ensemble. The new models introduce a dedicated decision intelligence layer designed to resolve bounded operational judgments quickly, helping Cortex determine what should happen next without sending every request through a larger generative model.

Cortex Routing Decisions focuses on fast structured judgments about request handling, including whether work should move to a direct action, coding workflow, connected information path, security capability, clarification step, or broader Cortex workflow. For eligible requests, it can replace a slower generative routing pass while Cortex retains its established fallback path for ambiguous, incomplete, unsupported, or higher risk cases.

In a controlled same host evaluation, Cortex Routing Decisions completed the median routing stage in less than 100 milliseconds, approximately 20 times faster than the existing Cortex Router comparison path, with about 95 percent lower median latency. Measured request throughput increased to about 24 times the baseline, while resident accelerator memory was more than 60 percent lower. Route accuracy and combined route and action correctness were approximately 96 percent across the measured suite.

Cortex Security Decisions brings the same specialized approach to recurring security judgments such as vulnerability classification, likely security category, severity, exploitation conditions, and patch validity. It is designed to accelerate triage and early workflow gates, not replace the evidence rich roles of Cortex Analysis and Cortex Verify.

Against the shared classification responsibilities measured with Cortex Analysis, Security Decisions delivered about 24 times faster median performance, about 22 times higher throughput, more than 60 percent lower resident accelerator memory, and an estimated 97 percent energy reduction. Against Cortex Verify, it delivered about 11 times faster median performance, about 13 times higher throughput, more than 60 percent lower memory, and an estimated 94 percent energy reduction.
