Patton AI Launches Patton Hive 4.5: Wartime Breakthroughs for Drones and Robots When GPS Goes Dark
The Californer/10360487

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Californer -- Patton AI, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) today launched Patton Hive Version 4.5, its state-of-the-art battle management and command-and-control (BMC2) software for contested and denied environments.

Why it matters: Patton AI is not a drone company. Hive v4.5 is software built to command the drones and platforms customers already own, protecting those investments, and is designed to work with the TAK/ATAK screens operators already carry.

Ten breakthroughs in Patton Hive 4.5, a different class of capability, each designed to deliver:

1. See the why behind every option: compare courses of action before committing.
2. Your rules of engagement, enforced at machine speed: violations blocked; commanders decide.
3. Mixed fleets that move as one: drones, ground robots and vessels.
4. Keeps fighting when the network is jammed or hacked: shuts out compromised units.
5. Precise positioning without GPS: teammates hand off and cover each other.
6. Power and heat managed so platforms don't quit mid-mission.
7. Sees through smoke, decoys and deception.
8. Team tactics generated on demand, not scripted: screening and coordinated maneuvers.
9. Gets smarter, only after hard safety checks pass.
10. Hard safety boundaries that protect friendly forces.

"Every operator knows the plan rarely survives first contact, and the network usually doesn't either," said Chris Birdsall, Founder of Patton AI. "Patton Hive 4.5 was built for that moment. The machines can move fast, but a human commander stays in charge and the rules of engagement hold every time."

Patton's companion hardware, in development and coming soon, brings bleeding-edge technology into existing vehicles: Patton Titan FMU, Malar GNSS and ZeroFail CRPA.

Hive v4.5 is dual-use by design, built for offshore energy and subsea work, mining, ports and coastal infrastructure, pipelines, power lines and rail corridors, disaster response and search-and-rescue, heavy construction and large civil sites, and commercial maritime support.

"We built Patton AI because we love this nation," Birdsall said. "American innovation is something to be proud of, and we put ours to work protecting the people and places we love. When all else fails, Patton Prevails."
