Higginswerx and Mirrorize Unveil 'Mirror 9: The Hollowing'

LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Creative powerhouse Higginswerx, in collaboration with visionary Mirrorize, announce MIRROR9: The Hollowing, a superhero action/comedy with sci-fi and suspense elements, built using next-generation AI video pipelines.

Directed, modeled, and edited by Brett Higgins, with a screenplay by Cherie Higgins, the film blends cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge digital production to deliver an original seasonal blockbuster experience.

The film airs October 17, 2026 across the AI Music and Video Channel and Alchemy Streaming Network, during AIMV's signature Saturday Night at the Movies block, following the premiere of Brian James Gage's sequel, Pumpkin Patch: Moonbreaker. Audiences can stream the event via the Alchemy app on Apple TV or Roku.

MIRROR9: The Hollowing follows an eccentric roster of misfit heroes tasked with saving their city from evil. Guided by Halo, the omnipresent AI system created by Mirrorize, aka "The Architect," the volatile team must coordinate their unstable superpowers to recover thousands of stolen hearts that have been "hollowed" before it's too late.

For the filmmakers, life imitates art: Lead characters Halo and Red Halo are actual AI systems on the Mirrorize website.

"Viewers can go to the Mirrorize site right now and talk to Halo," said Brett Higgins. "Or Red Halo, but she is kind of scary."

The film also highlights the superhero team's dynamics and specialized roles within the Halo AI system. Character cards, courtesy of BoastIt, LLC, are being added daily to the Higginswerx Instagram page, where fans can explore the team's powers and relationships.

"We wanted to challenge the boundaries of what independent cinema can achieve by leveraging the rendering capabilities of AI with human-led storytelling and direction," said Brett Higgins, founder of Higginswerx.
