Oakland, CA – Over 120 fourth and fifth-grade students from Franklin Elementary School will take over the streets of Downtown and Uptown Oakland—not for a protest, but for a powerful lesson in financial empowerment.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Californer -- Financial Literacy for Kids is organizing the first-ever "BANK ON Oakland, CA Crawl," which will see students visit major banks, meet financial experts, and participate in interactive sessions to learn how money, banking, and entrepreneurship shape their communities.

With financial literacy education now required in California high schools, this event brings real-world financial education to elementary students, bridging the knowledge gap at an early age.

"This is more than a field trip—it's a movement. We're teaching kids how money works, how to build wealth, and how to change their futures," says Val Chapman, Founder & CEO of Financial Literacy for Kids.
