Care En Route Launches Location-Aware Booking For Mobile Healthcare Practices

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Californer -- Care En Route, a new EasyDocForms product, has launched for independent mobile healthcare providers. It combines location-aware booking, travel pricing, Stripe payments, mobile forms and field documentation.

Ordinary calendars can offer openings without considering the previous visit. Care En Route evaluates the booking address, service area, existing stops, traffic-aware travel time, safety allowance, setup, service duration and departure time. It offers an arrival time only when the full visit fits. Providers can set fees for outer travel zones and block bookings beyond their service boundary.

Care En Route uses Amazon Location Service Routes V2 CalculateRoutes with traffic data and the proposed departure time. It combines that estimate with existing appointments and visit requirements before offering a time. Because traffic can change, arrival times are planning estimates.

"For a mobile practice, the address changes whether an appointment fits, what the trip costs and how the day unfolds," said David Main of Care En Route. "We built Care En Route to treat the drive as part of the appointment."

EasyDocForms powers the forms and documentation workflow. Practices can present existing paperwork as mobile-friendly questions, then map answers and signatures onto the original PDF. This improves the phone experience while preserving the practice's document format.

At launch, providers use the iOS practitioner app to review appointments, intake status and connected patient charts. They can chart with reusable note profiles, typed notes or AI-assisted voice-to-text, then review and finalize the documentation.

The initial release supports one mobile provider per organization, with multi-provider support planned next. It includes configurable service areas, traffic-aware scheduling, travel pricing, Stripe booking payments, mobile intake and provider-reviewed field notes. Founding plans include guided onboarding and five done-for-you Exact PDF conversions.

Organizations should review their privacy, security, HIPAA, configuration and agreement requirements before onboarding.
