City Celebrates Long Beach Walk to School Week

Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - The Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department) is excited to announce the start of Long Beach Walk to School Week, which will run from March 17th to March 21st. This annual event aims to promote physical activity, pedestrian safety, and reduce traffic congestion near school zones.

Mayor Rex Richardson expressed his support for the event, stating that "Long Beach Walk to School Week gives Long Beach students and their families a chance to develop lifelong healthy habits to promote mental and physical health."
