HUNTINGDON, U.K. - Californer -- High5VR has announced the development of a groundbreaking new film experience that will place audiences directly inside the story through a fully immersive first-person virtual reality format.
The production will be based on the book Sammy Rambles and the Floating Circus, which is available now and introduces a richly imagined world of adventure, mystery and discovery. The story follows a young boy whose journey quickly unfolds into something far greater, drawing him into a world filled with danger, friendship and unexpected challenges.
Unlike traditional cinema, where viewers watch events unfold, this project is designed to allow audiences to experience the narrative from within, seeing, feeling and moving through the story as if they are part of it.
The experience is being developed specifically for VR headsets, delivering a fully immersive cinematic environment built using advanced real-time rendering and emerging immersive technologies. The film will be presented entirely from a first-person perspective, allowing audiences to experience each moment as if they are the main character.
High5VR has begun work on the screenplay, marking the early stage of development as the team moves towards pre-production. The project represents a significant step forward in combining cinematic storytelling with virtual reality, aiming to create a new category of film that moves beyond passive viewing.

Hannah Hayes, the CEO of High5VR, said:
"This is about transforming how stories are experienced. Instead of watching a character, you become the character. We are pushing the boundaries of what film can be and creating something that has never been done before."
High5VR is currently inviting discussions with collaborators, creative partners and investors interested in supporting the development of this project and helping shape the future of immersive storytelling.
The project represents a major step towards redefining how stories are told, offering audiences a deeper level of connection, presence and engagement than traditional film formats.
