SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Jan. 10, 2025 ~ As the massive wildfires continue to ravage the greater Los Angeles area, Convoy of Hope has stepped in to provide much-needed relief supplies. The organization, known for its disaster response efforts, is delivering semi truckloads of supplies such as food, bottled water, and hygiene items from their Regional Distribution Center in Sacramento.
According to Ethan Forhetz, Convoy of Hope's national spokesperson, these fires are the most destructive in LA history. The flames were fueled by hurricane-force winds earlier this week, causing block after block to ignite.

"The scope of devastation is staggering," Forhetz stated. "So many people are forced to evacuate, not knowing if their homes will be there when they return. We are working to bring comfort to survivors and give them hope for tomorrow."
Convoy is collaborating with various partners, including churches and other non-governmental organizations, to coordinate the distribution of supplies. Those who wish to support their efforts can make donations at convoy.org/fires.
