PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Californer -- This Earth Day, DESERT BLOOM™, the fiercely stylish and unapologetically eco-conscious Western fashion brand, officially launches its plant-based cowgirl boots — with pre-orders opening today.
Crafted with high-quality materials, bold design, and a fearless aesthetic, DESERT BLOOM™ is here to kick fast fashion off its high horse.
Founded by Kristen Decker — great-granddaughter of legendary Wild West outlaw Wild Bill Hickok — the brand channels a renegade spirit into every detail, from high-fashion cowgirl energy to planet-first materials. Each boot is made using BIO RECOS™, a farm-based leather alternative derived from wheat and corn, and natural rubber soles containing 20% recycled content. DESERT BLOOM™ boots are manufactured in Leon, Mexico in partnership with a team of local artisans. These boots are as principled as they are powerful.
"I grew up on a farm and lived in my cowgirl boots, but never found a pair that matched my values," says Decker. "DESERT BLOOM™ is the brand I've always dreamed of — where style meets sustainability with an outlaw spirit."

To celebrate the launch, the brand is making its debut this weekend at Stagecoach Music Festival with an immersive booth experience where consumers can see and try the boots on in person and check out branded merch. The debut includes an exclusive Sustainable Creator House, spotlighting sustainable Western fashion influencers.
The debut collection features two stunning snip-toe styles, offered in five colors — each with the brand's signature agave stitch design on the heel and unique desert landscape on the outsole — available exclusively at desertbloom.com.
