LONG BEACH, Calif. - Californer -- Fishbone Seafood Restaurants, a popular Southern California seafood franchise, is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest location in Downtown Long Beach on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, music, and fun. The new restaurant is located at 149 East 4th Street, Long Beach, CA 90802.
This location is owned and operated by Greg Walter, a proud Longshoreman from Carson who is bringing this community both Southern-style seafood and a welcoming space to gather. Walter has worked for years along the Port of Long Beach and is now extending his dedication and work ethic into the restaurant industry.
"As a longshoreman, I've spent my life helping keep goods moving through this city. Now, I'm honored to serve Downtown Long Beach in a different way—through food, fellowship, and community," said Walter. "Fishbone Seafood is more than just a restaurant—it's a place where families and friends can come together and enjoy fresh, Southern-style meals right here in our own neighborhood."
