That same year he also won California State Coach of the Year.

After this Silver went on to build West Coast Elite which has grown into the largest shoe sponsored basketball program (Under Armour) in America. West Coast Elite has gone on to provide over $140,000,000 in scholarships so far and currently has 7 NBA alumnus including Western Conference Finalist Josh Green of the Dallas Mavericks. He has also been able to build the Elite 100 Camp into one of the top camps in America with over 50 NBA alumnus and counting, and West Coast Elite Basketball into one of the top event operators as well.
