SAN FRANCISCO, May 14, 2025 ~ Genstar Capital's Managing Director, Operations and Chief Financial Officer, Melissa Dickerson, has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the private equity industry. PE Hub has named her to their prestigious "Women in Private Equity" list for 2025, which honors 10 female leaders who are shaping the future of the industry and inspiring the next generation of women.
In addition to this recognition, Ms. Dickerson also received an honorable mention on Mergers & Acquisitions' "2025 Most Influential Women in Private Equity M&A" list. This list highlights women who are making a significant impact on dealmaking and the larger M&A industry.

Ms. Dickerson has been with Genstar for over two decades and has played a crucial role in developing the firm's operational infrastructure as it grew from managing $200 million in assets to $50 billion. She also played a key role in doubling the team at Genstar. Under her leadership, Genstar's annual CFO Summit was created eight years ago. This event brings together CFOs from portfolio companies to network, share insights and enhance their investment strategies through keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops.
