GRAVITY 180 Releases "Overjoyed", A Romantic Homage to Stevie Wonder's Original on Valentine's Day

LOS ANGELES - Californer -- R&B/Soul music trio GRAVITY 180 has released their newest single, "Overjoyed" on all platforms on February 14, 2025. Their first release of 2025, "Overjoyed" is a re-worked arrangement of the Stevie Wonder classic, featuring group members Harold and Clydene's unique duet vocals. Percussionist Oliver C Brown had this to say of the song; "We wanted to respect the Stevie Wonder version but 'Gravitize it' with Clydene and Harold's spiraling vocal approach." The song can be found wherever music can be streamed.

GRAVITY 180 is a trio of three storied musicians in their right coming together. Their multi-genre music blends elements of pop, soul, latin & gospel, and their concerts are frequently recognized in press reviews as a "must see" show. The group consists of Clydene Jackson (vocals, keyboards), the voice on many films and hundreds of national commercials and prime time TV shows, including The Lion King, Toy Story and Avatar. On vocals and guitar is Harold Payne, a multi-platinum songwriter who has written for such artists as Rod Stewart, Patti LaBelle, Carlos Santana and long-time collaborator Bobby Womack. The final element that ties GRAVITY 180 together is world-renowned percussionist, Oliver C. Brown, of the original KC and the Sunshine band. Oliver is also a touring musician with acts like Al Jarreau, Leo Sayer & Fleetwood Mac.
