The collaboration integrates NIST-standardized post-quantum encryption across HELM's cloud, mobile, and device infrastructure—ensuring that sensitive data related to children's hearing health, sound exposure, and safety analytics remains secure not just today, but decades into the future.

As quantum computing advances, traditional public-key encryption methods such as RSA and ECC are expected to become vulnerable. Data encrypted today—particularly long-lived personal and health-related data—can be harvested now and decrypted later.
