Built on 25 Years of Leadership in Tumescent Anesthesia Innovation
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Californer -- HK Surgical, the home of the Original Klein Pump, is proud to announce the launch of the HK Klein Infiltration Pump KIP-II+, the fifth generation of the Klein Pump collection designed to advance the delivery of tumescent local anesthesia (TLA). Developed from more than 25 years of innovation rooted in the work of Dr. Jeffrey Klein, inventor of the tumescent technique, the KIP-II+ continues HK Surgical's commitment to improving efficiency, safety, and clinician control during infiltration procedures.
The KIP-II+ is engineered to expedite the delivery of tumescent anesthesia with a maximum flow rate of 1000 ml per minute and a motor range of 0 to 600 RPM. An easy-to-adjust dial allows clinicians to control flow settings from 1 to 10, while two modes of operation, momentary and toggle, provide flexibility based on procedural preference. The system operates in a single direction flow configuration and includes an audible signal with adjustable volume to indicate active operation. With dual foot switch ports, the KIP-II+ accommodates a pedal on each side of the OR table, supporting efficient workflow in dynamic surgical environments. The unit adapts to both 115 and 230 volts.

Designed for seamless integration into existing HK Surgical systems, the KIP-II+ is compatible with Klein Single Spike Infiltration Tubing (ITS-10 and ITS-20), Double Spike Infiltration Tubing (ITD-20), HK CV Single Spike Infiltration Tubing (CVT-10 and CVT-20), the HK IV Pole and IV Pump Bracket, Vein Valet, and Liposuction Valet. Each pump includes a power cord, one pneumatic foot switch, IFU, and HK Single Spike Infiltration Tubing, with an option to purchase an additional foot pedal.
Since its original introduction, the Klein Pump has become the preferred standard of care over manual infiltration techniques. With the touch of a foot pedal or panel control, the KIP-II+ delivers high volumes of TLA at the selected rate, helping reduce infiltration and overall procedure time while supporting patient and clinician comfort. The use of the Klein Pump has expanded well beyond its origins in tumescent liposuction and now supports cosmetic and plastic surgery, vascular procedures including vein ablation and phlebectomy, subdermal and facial procedures, fat harvesting, and burn and wound applications such as skin grafting.
