Hiring & Mentorship Event Scheduled for Wednesday, June 4 at 12:00 PM at Manual Arts High School
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Living Advantage, Inc. (LA, Inc.) is proud to host our V.I.P. Career Match Day on Wednesday, June 4, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Manual Arts High School. This empowering event is designed to prepare local youth for success while connecting them with employers, professionals, and mentors committed to opening doors to future opportunities.
V.I.P. Career Match Day offers far more than job placement. Students will gain real-world exposure to various career fields, receive hands-on support with résumés, and build confidence through mock interviews. Employers and professionals will not only connect with potential candidates but also guide students as they explore what's possible for their lives and careers.
This year's invitations include:
This year's featured participants include Tierra Matlock, a highly skilled professional from the Hollywood Burbank Airport; Inspire Together, an organization dedicated to youth development and empowerment; Ava Walker, founder of Beyond Our Kin, known for her powerful mentorship and advocacy; Michael Mims, a fitness trainer and social media marketing expert who brings a unique perspective on entrepreneurship, personal branding, and health; and Cicely Majeed of Rainbow Universe Pageant & Youth Services, a passionate advocate for self-expression, leadership, and youth empowerment through pageantry and community engagement.
