WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Californer -- Hollywood really showed up on Saturday as the Hollywood International Screen Awards (HISA) brought filmmakers and actors together for a celebration of storytelling, creative courage and careers built to last. HISA Ambassador David J. Lasky hosted the evening and received the Champion for Change: Women in Hollywood Award. Two-time Emmy nominee Paris Dylan was honored with the Creative Courage Award, celebrating the drive and resilience it takes to build a lasting career in Hollywood. Filmmaker Arthur Allan Seidelman received the Impact in Action Award for a body of work that has shaped film, television and theatre. Seidelman directed Arnold Schwarzenegger in his first feature-film role in Hercules in New York and went on to direct more than 50 films and episodes across 23 television series, including Hill Street Blues, Magnum, P.I., Murder, She Wrote and L.A. Law . His honors include two Emmy Awards, a Primetime Emmy nomination, a Peabody Award, a Humanitas Award and a Writers Guild of America Award. Actor and poet Luke Madsen, son of the late Michael Madsen, received the Future of Hollywood Award. His credits include Michael Madsen's Video Diary (Hell Ride) and American Badass Chronicles . Director Billy A. Reyes received the Spotlight Award for The Cemetery , the short film earning attention on the festival circuit. Screenwriter, TikTok comedian and actress Jennie Marie Pacelli received the Writer's Vision Award for No Angels in Hollywood, Presenters included Christopher Côté, the French-Canadian romance cover model, actor and digital creator followed by more than two million fans on TikTok, and Charis Michelsen, actress, producer, model and beauty-industry innovator known for High Art, Bringing Out the Dead and Wonder Boys . The elevated black-and-gold experience carried through every detail. Guests enjoyed custom HISA grazing cups filled with fruit, cheese, crackers and gold star accents, alongside a curated dessert display. Each attendee also received a custom black-and-gold HISA gift bag featuring WEN by Chaz Dean hair products, including Cleansing Conditioner, plus luxury vouchers for three-day stays and services at Austria's DAS.GOLDBERG and The Omnia in Zermatt, Switzerland. After the awards, the celebration continued at the Smokin' Swank After Party with a live performance by recording artist HAPPY. Jazz artist Victoria Rowe set the mood during the red-carpet reception.
