LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Iconic comedienne, author, actress, and cultural trailblazer Hope Flood will unite generations of comedic talent at Hope Flood's 11th Annual Comics Rock Convention (CRC), taking place July 19–23, 2026, in Los Angeles.

The multi-day event coincides with a significant personal milestone as Flood celebrates her 60th birthday, the theme "Old Black Hollywood Gala." As well as transforming the week into a powerful celebrity comedy awards tribute honoring the legends, movers and shakers in the comedy game.

Purple Carpet Celebrity Comedy Awards will honor Deon Cole-"Comedian of the Year", Don "DC" Curry "Living Legend Award", Alex Thomas "Living Legacy Icon Award", Michael Blackson "Humanitarian Award" & Tisha Campbell "Best Comedic Actress".

Hope Flood's 11th Annual Comics Rock Convention (CRC) is a first-of-its-kind gathering created to honor the voices that laid the foundation of comedy while intentionally cultivating opportunities for the next generation to rise.
