Los Angeles-based writer, mystic, and technologist releases debut acapella songs with no announcement, audience, explanation, or apology
LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Jorden Lacy Jackson released three raw acapella songs with just her voice, a cathedral echo, and a title that feels like a confession: i love you... (i need to scream)
The trilogy, i love you v1, i love you v2, and i love you... (i need to scream), is available now on all major streaming platforms.
The Music
The trilogy moves from vulnerability to revelation. i love you v1 arrives raw and intimate as she explores using her voice again after an almost 20 year pause. i love you v2 deepens the emotional register with a richer, expanded sensual and ethereal tone.

By the time i love you... (i need to scream) arrives, the music has evolved into something deeper and together the three songs tell one cohesive story that's still evolving after the music stops. It's the kind of music that finds emotions words can't reach and speaks them for you.
"I know these songs are not perfect," says Jackson. "They're not meant to be. I just wanted them to be true. I made them and published them in 48 hours without overthinking. I had to start somewhere. And after years of feeling blocked creatively, it felt really good to sing again."
Listen
i love you... (i need to scream) and the full trilogy are available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms.
