SAN FRANCISCO, June 13, 2025 ~ In a recent development, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Region 20 has issued a complaint against Amazon for its alleged illegal union-busting activities at the DCK6 facility in San Francisco. This move marks yet another victory for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in their ongoing battle against the two trillion-dollar company.

According to Randy Korgan, Director of the Teamsters Amazon Division, "Amazon Teamsters are securing victories on the ground and in the courts." He further added, "Workers will not back down, and we will continue to take on this behemoth of a company."

The NLRB's latest complaint is seen as a significant step towards holding Amazon accountable for its violations against workers. The government is seeking to force the company to rehire fired employees and ensure that union supporters receive fair treatment in terms of raises, bonuses, and promotions.

The Teamsters have been actively fighting back against Amazon on multiple fronts. In April, NLRB Region 20 issued another complaint against the company at the DCK6 facility to compel them to bargain with the Teamsters. These complaints come after a historic strike during the holiday season in December where over 100 workers at San Francisco's DCK6 facility joined forces with Teamsters across the country for a nationwide unfair labor practice strike. This strike brought national attention to what was deemed as abusive working conditions at Amazon.

Ken Chu, an Amazon Teamster at DCK6, stated that "Amazon tried every trick in the book to stop us from organizing a union and we succeeded anyway." He proudly added that their warehouse is now a Teamsters shop and their union is getting stronger while Amazon faces consequences for its alleged lawbreaking.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters was founded in 1903 and currently represents over 1.3 million hardworking individuals in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
