MARYSVILLE, Calif. - Californer -- Bok Kai Weekend commemorates the Chinese deity, Bok Eye, or Bok Kai, honored for his power to control water, a crucial aspect in the history of Marysville. The festivities blend traditional rituals with modern entertainment, showcasing the dynamic cultural tapestry of the region and the community.
The two-day event features an array of activities, including:
1. **Parade and Street Fair**:
Join the parade winding through the streets of Marysville, followed by a bustling street fair offering delicious food, captivating performances, and artisanal crafts. An evening fireworks show that is sure to please!
