SAN DIEGO - Californer -- Melospeech Inc., a leading innovator in early-intervention and pediatric speech therapy technology, announced today that it has officially accepted its nomination for HealthTech Startup of the Year in the United States for the Northern American Startup Awards, Edition 11.
This nomination recognizes Melospeech Inc.'s impact in advancing technology-enabled speech therapy, expanding access for underserved families, and building scalable tools that help practices operate with greater efficiency. Finalists across the Global Startup Awards network represent the top emerging companies, with 16 past finalists reportedly achieving unicorn status.
"We're excited to stand alongside so many other health tech start-ups in officially accepting this nomination," said Dr. Givona Sandiford, founder and CEO of Melospeech Inc. "Our team was genuinely surprised by the recognition. We're just a small group of therapists, developers, and educators working to reach as many underserved children as we can — and technology is what makes that possible."

"As a speech-language pathologist, I've seen firsthand how powerful it is when we meet families where they are—both physically and culturally," said Bavaro. "What makes Melospeech so unique is our commitment to using technology and innovation that's truly built for our field, allowing us to better and more quickly serve communities in need."
The nomination also provides opportunities for Melospeech Inc. to gain additional visibility within the global innovation ecosystem, connect with influential industry leaders, and access potential investment opportunities through GSA Ventures.
