PITTSBURGH, May 16, 2025 ~ Michael Baker International, a renowned global leader in engineering, consulting, and advisory services, has recently appointed Fareeha Kibriya as the new Office Executive for their Los Angeles and Long Beach offices. With this new role, Ms. Kibriya will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of both offices, including operational management, business development, staff development, and client engagement.
As a key part of her role, Ms. Kibriya will also lead Michael Baker's growth initiatives with various agencies and organizations in the Southern California region. This includes working closely with Los Angeles City and County agencies, utility providers, higher education clients, the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, other cities and local agencies, as well as private developers.
Trudi Lim, Office Executive at Michael Baker International expressed her confidence in Ms. Kibriya's abilities by stating that she has successfully provided strategic oversight on large infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. She also highlighted Ms. Kibriya's expertise in managing on-call environmental services contracts and believes that it will be instrumental in strengthening the firm's presence in the region.

Ms. Kibriya brings a wealth of experience to her new role with expertise in infrastructure and energy work, university campus facilities, public and private land planning, and environmental compliance. She is also a seasoned practitioner of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). In fact, since joining Michael Baker four years ago as Department Manager – Planning, she has played a significant role in the growth of her team.
Prior to joining Michael Baker International, Ms. Kibriya held positions such as Policy and Environmental Planner and Associate Vice President – Environmental Planning at AECOM. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of California Irvine along with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Sociology.
With her extensive experience and impressive qualifications, Ms. Kibriya is well-equipped to lead the Los Angeles and Long Beach teams in tackling the region's most pressing infrastructure challenges. Her leadership is expected to drive innovation and deliver transformative solutions for clients, further solidifying Michael Baker International's reputation as a top engineering and consulting firm.
