The story of Sister Blandina, a hidden figure who made her presence known on her mission throughout the southwest United States played by Alma Sisneros. After her family came to America from Italy she entered into The Sisters of Charity in Cincinnati, OH who sent her on a mission to Trinidad but she is surprised to discover it is not the island she anticipated but a town in the Rocky Mountains. In her efforts to help children and the needy she meets many characters of the Southwest including multiple encounters with the outlaw Billy the Kid.
