New architecture connects Cortex, Codex, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, and OpenCode with protected credentials, governed execution, and continuity across enterprise workflows.
SAN FRANCISCO - Californer -- Pervaziv AI today announced Cortex Host Protocol, a new capability that brings six AI hosts into one connected experience across development environments, browsers, mobile applications, and the command line.
As organizations adopt multiple AI providers, fragmented interfaces, credentials, permissions, and session histories are becoming significant barriers to productive enterprise use. Cortex Host Protocol addresses this challenge by separating provider choice from the experience used to access, manage, and govern AI work.
Six Providers. One Cortex Experience.
Cortex Host Protocol supports six AI host choices: Cortex from Pervaziv AI, Codex from OpenAI, Copilot from Microsoft, Claude from Anthropic, Gemini from Google, and OpenCode from Anomaly.
Users can select an available host when starting a new session while continuing through the familiar Cortex experience. Cortex remains the default, with external hosts operating through a common host layer designed to preserve identity, controls, and continuity.

The architecture introduces three essential capabilities:
Freedom Without Fragmentation
Rather than exposing an expanding catalog of model versions, Cortex offers three understandable response modes: Fast, Balanced, and Deep. These allow users to prioritize responsiveness, everyday work, or demanding technical investigations without constantly managing underlying model choices.
Cortex Host Protocol extends across Cortex Discover, IDE extensions, browser extensions, Android and iPhone applications, and Cortex CLI through Cortex Connect.
"Enterprises should be free to choose the best AI for their work without rebuilding their workflows around every provider," said Anoop Jaishankar, Founder and CEO of Pervaziv AI. "Cortex brings that freedom into one trusted experience where identity, control, and continuity remain consistent."

Expanding the Enterprise AI Control Layer
The announcement builds on recent Cortex innovations in continuous intelligence, including Cortex Pulse, workflow automation, managed worktrees, browser interaction, and durable execution.
These capabilities help teams move beyond individual AI conversations toward ongoing, coordinated work. Host Protocol adds provider choice to that foundation while retaining a path to Cortex security, validation, automation, and evidence-based workflows.
For developers, it simplifies access to multiple AI coding hosts. For enterprises, it offers greater provider flexibility without multiplying independent credential stores or unmanaged execution paths.
The provider can change. The standard for trusted AI work should not.

The architecture introduces three essential capabilities:
- Protected Credentials: Support for approved personal credentials and Cortex-managed access, with clear ownership of provider usage.
- Governed Execution: Provider permissions, workspace restrictions, approvals, sandboxing, and usage limits appropriate to each client.
- Durable Continuity: Sessions retain their selected host and credential context, supporting reliable reconnection and reviewable progress.
