LOS ANGELES - Californer -- Brazilian actresses are rising worldwide and Priscilla Avila is ready to take over after a traumatic pandemic break. She stopped her proliferous career to take care of her 2 years old nephew with a very rare cancer in Brazil.
"I was the only one in my family able to stop working to help my sister who is a single mother of 2 babies. I had to sleep with my nephew every night in the hospital because my sister was not allowed to bring her newborn daughter. I learned a lot through this experience. I saw a lot of kids in a bad condition or dying and I decided I will do everything I could to save his life. The doctors didn't believe in his cure but I also know sometimes they are not trained to understand our bodies in a holistic approach and I did a lot of research because his cancer – a BCOR sarcoma – didn't have a specific treatment available" tells the actress.

Priscilla says that besides the chemo and radiotherapy her family tried powerful plants as Euphorbia Tirucalli, Pranic healing sessions, reiki, gut microbiome tests, a lot of supplements like cat's claw and NAC. They also sent her little nephew to a Metabolomic researcher and a Xaman from Amazon who performed an energetic healing therapy. "Almost Inexplicably all the metastatic cancer disappeared. It was one of the best days of my life. I felt so empowered by the ability we have to change our reality, also we needed a crowdfunding for all the surgeries our insurance didn't cover, and the money came so fast from so many parts of the world. I really felt so hopeful about our ability as individuals to change things and do good, and I wish I can do it through my work for other people as well. I also need to make sure my family will have all the financial support necessary because my nephew has a lot of spine debilities after the tumor being removed." Says Priscilla on tears.

Speaking about her recent work abroad, Priscilla appeared in the Indian Movie "Mosagallu" and her work was critically acclaimed saying she needed more space for her character. "I was so excited to see my name on the big news with big stars like Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal and Vishnu Manchu. I shot the movie in Los Angeles and unfortunately I was not able to experience Indian culture. Now after taking care of my family, I moved back to Hollywood and I am waiting for my greencard to be able to work in the big studios and movie productions". Completes Priscilla who besides her mother language, she also speaks French, English and Spanish and she is learning Hindi.
